The binary packages are build on EL5 Linux i386. sdltcl and sdltk install
below /opt/sdltk. The optional packages libvncserver and SDL replace the
normal packages. SDL has a VNC video driver compiled in (initially
developed by micolous+sdl at gmail dot com. Further information on
that driver is in /usr/share/doc/SDL-1.2.15/README.VNC of the SDL package.
Since October 2013 support for SDL2 (2.0.0) is available. Again, the packages
were made on EL5 Linux i386. Note that the sdl2tk package cannot be
installed in parallel with the old sdltk package.
Since April 2014 Tcl/Tk 8.6.1 with SDL 2.0.3 is available. The SRPM packages build on EL6 Linux (x86_64 tested), the .tar.gz archives on Raspian (Debian Wheezy) and Ubuntu 12.04 (i386). Things are installed below /opt/sdltk86.
